Battle for Oceanus
Let me introduce myself. My name is Jack Enright. I am the author of fiction books namely: Lost Across the Ocean, Battle for Oceanus, Return of the Ancient Mariners and Naga Invasion. There is a common theme among all, the inherent value of all living creatures on planet Earth.
In the first book, Lost Across the Ocean, there is a wealth of writing about the flora and fauna of the Northwest within the present States of Oregon, Washington and Idaho. This wild country is the setting of the prehistoric story occurring 14500 years ago during the Ice Age. During that time there was a warming period that allowed the resurgence of luxuriant growth of grasses in meadows and forests on the foothills of mountains. Fossil evidence found throughout the area confirms the existence of herbivores: Mammoths, Long necked Camels, Horses, Ground sloths, Bison, Pronghorns, Deer and predators: Saber tooth Tigers, Scimitar cats, American Lions, Dire wolves, Short face Bears, Grizzly Bears. Many other creatures are depicted in their natural environment among the peoples that hunted prey and gathered roots and berries.
